    Celtic Club Gets Engaged!

Engaged with its members, that is.

This year, we’ve ramped our communications with members so that you learn about events and happenings more than ever before.

Committee Member, Clare Murphy, has launched The Celtic Club Melbourne Podcast.  It’s available through Soundcloud, iTunes and Spotify, and is already proving popular, so you can stay in touch with all things Melbourne Irish on your way to work in the car or on the tram.

We’ve also held our first In Camera Members Feedback session. This directly contributed many of the changes you’ve read about. The arising actions have been well received, so Celtic Club has decided to have a second feedback session. Lookout for details of this coming up in December, so that you may have the chance to contribute directly.

You might also have noticed that we’ve been busy on social media and in your email inbox. The Celtic Club Committee has engaged SWiM Communications to develop our marketing and communications. Joe Manariti and his team have been taking our message to members, and finding new ones, better than ever before. Please follow us and share your thoughts on Instagram and Facebook if you’re not already.

We’re also preparing for a website update. The Club wanted to ensure the website does a better job of catering to members’ needs. We’ve already successfully completed a “User Persona” workshop, canvassing opinions of people representing different strata of members; young and old, committee and non-committee.
