    Events

Now that our Bacon & Cabbage night is over until next year, the next event on our Melbourne Comhaltas calendar is our Halloween party on Saturday 26th October, 6:30-10:00 p.m. at St. Philip’s. Aside from our famous music, dancing and craic, we are very excited to have professional storyteller Niki na Meadhra to entertain and enthral us. “The veil between the worlds grows thin and the shadows walk. Professional storyteller, Niki na Meadhra, will weave Otherworldly Irish tales for this magical season. Niki has been a regular guest at the National Celtic Festival and in 2015 toured in Ireland, telling and collecting stories as she went. She was a guest teller at Sneem International Storytelling Festival, in Kerry, Ramelton Storytelling Festival in Donegal and gave concerts in Dublin and Cork, as well as pubs all down the west coast.” This certainly has the makings of a very special evening.
