My name is Audrey Leahy and I am originally from Cork City. I now live in Mordialloc with my Aussie husband Les and our children, Ollie and Grace.

By day I work as lawyer in Hall & Wilcox lawyers in Melbourne specialising in commercial real estate transactions and I also head up the Irish Desk. Outside of work,  I love to go to the beach with the kids, play tennis and check out the café scene in our neighbourhood.

In early 2023, I joined the Celtic Club to connect with a community that shares a passion for Irish culture, tradition, and community. Throughout the past year, I’ve regularly attended the Celtic Club’s monthly Connection Events. Among the highlights were learning about the history of Irish presence in early Melbourne and being inspired by the stories of remarkable Irish men and women playing with the AFL and AFLW in Victoria. I have also really valued the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of people and make meaningful friendships within the Club.

I’m really looking forward to the next chapter for the Club when it opens its new premises, the Wild Geese.
